PRESS INFORMATION

The 8th Annual Anguilla  Regatta is coming up on May 7th - 9th 2010. The organization would like to invite writers, photographers and TV crew to attend the Regatta to let people in all countries beyond the seas know what a great event and island this is. Throughout the Regatta the organization will assist the members of the press in every possible way from the Regatta Office.

If you are an accredited journalist and wish to cover this event please e-mail  regatta@sailanguilla.com with your details. Also, please feel free to use our special "Regatta Rates" at selected guests houses and inns located in Sandy Ground.  Please see our "Island Info" page for locations and details.

4:00 – 6:00 Registration – ASA Building, North end of Sandy Ground

7:00 pm  PARTY – Roy’s Bayside Grill

 

Friday, May 7th

8:00 am -10:00 am  Late Registration

10:00 am Skipper’s Briefing – Regatta Office

11:00 am Race 1 Start - Yachts

8:30 pm  PARTY – Elvis’ Beach Bar

 

          

 

Saturday, May 8th

9:30 am Race 2 Start - Yachts (Starts for Races, 3, 4, and 5 to be announced)

9:00 pm  PARTY - Pump House

 

 

 

 

Sunday, May 10th

9:30 am  Race 8 Start - Yachts

TBD  Yacht Prize Giving (Main Stage) - 60 Minutes after last race finish.

2:00 pm  Race 10 Start - Anguilla Boat Race

6:00 pm  Anguilla Racing Boat Prize Giving (Main Stage)
